U17 Boys Claim Triathle Team Bronze as Team Australia Shines at World Championships

Team Australia has celebrated a major podium success at the Triathle World Championships, with the Under 17 boys securing Team Bronze after a standout performance in a tough and highly competitive field.

The U17 team showed exceptional grit, composure and teamwork across the swim, run and shoot to earn their place on the podium and bring home a bronze medal for Australia. Their collective effort was underpinned by strong individual performances from all three athletes:

  • Oliver Clapham – 11th
  • Levi Tubailagi – 19th
  • William Nieuwenhuis – 21st

The bronze medal marked a significant achievement for the young Australian squad and highlighted the depth of emerging talent within the national program.

In the Senior Men’s Triathle Final, Australia continued its strong showing against a deep international field. Amos Vagg produced a composed and consistent race to finish 12th, with Dean Daubaras close behind in 17th, both athletes demonstrating resilience and experience on the world stage.

Adding to the day’s positive results, Milanke Haasbroek delivered another impressive performance in the Under 13 Triathle Final. Competing back in her own age group, Haasbroek finished 8th overall in a field of 36 athletes, further underlining her potential and continued development internationally.

With a team podium, strong senior performances and promising results from emerging athletes, Team Australia continues to build momentum at the Triathle World Championships.
