Team Bronze for Australia in Biathle Finals

Australia’s Biathle team delivered outstanding performances today at the Biathle World Championships in Mossel Bay, South Africa, highlighted by a Team Bronze in the Under 17 Boys event and strong results in the Senior Men’s final.

U17 Boys Claim Team Bronze

Australia secured a Team Bronze in the highly competitive Under 17 Boys Final at the World Championships, with all three athletes putting in determined performances across the run–swim–run format.

  • Oliver Clapham – 22nd
  • Levi Tubailagi – 26th
  • William Nieuwenhuis – 33rd

The trio worked together brilliantly, showing depth and consistency in a large international field to secure a well-earned podium finish for Australia.

Senior Men Impress

In the Senior Men’s Biathle Final at the World Championships , Australia continued to demonstrate strength at the highest level.

  • Dean Daubaras – 9th
  • Amos Vagg – 21st

Both athletes delivered powerful races against a world-class field of 40 competitors, reinforcing Australia’s growing presence in senior international competition.

Next Up: Triathle World Championships

The team now turns its focus to the Triathle World Championships, featuring the exciting run–shoot–swim format. The athletes are reset, prepared, and ready to take on the next challenge in Mossel Bay. We are excited to see what they can deliver as Triathle racing gets underway.
